For some, enjoying dramatic and beautiful landscape from the car window or from a short walk can be enough. Others feel the need to get closer to nature and experience its magnificence and power.
Whichever one is you, come visit us and stay for a few days. With Fjellro as point of departure, you can set off on a variety of hiking trips and ascend mountaintops. The trips can be adapted to time and energy.
The Fjellro garden is well worth a visit. Here you will find lots of space, and visitors may enjoy a meal or drink, or simply relax. From the end of the garden, the steep Sylte Mountain stretches towards the clouds. The setting is truly unique.
The mountain and the sound of running water from the spring come together and create a special atmosphere around Fjellro — a blend of drama and serenity.
Fjellro is the right choice if you want an alternative to the big tourist hotels. Our rooms have a personal character with WC/shower/TV/internet and are sheltered from traffic noise.
Here you can settle down for the day and get a good night's sleep. Most of our rooms are double, but we also have several family rooms with 3-4 beds and an optional baby cot. All of our rooms are smoke-free, as well as the rest of the hotel.
Food & Drink
In the colourfully decorated main building from 1917, you will find our popular café and reception. Our tasty fish restaurant Fjellrosa is located on the first floor.
You are welcome to try our British-inspired cellar-pub called Bill's, where live music is often played during weekends. We are fully licensed, and proud to boast one of the largest whisky assortments in the district.
